Voice of the Shuttle   is a super site with links and resources on  Literary periods, genres, poets, dramatists, and  writers.

Literary Resources on the Net is another great site with similar links and resources to Vos.

(Pre-1620 to 1920)   This timeline provides a short chronology of events in American history and literature.  It is linked to course pages and bibliographies as well as to a set of more general linked resources: pages on American authors, literary movements, and American literature sites. Also included is a comparative timeline and links to American Literature, Music, and Movies (1890-1899).

REPRESENTATIVE POETRY ON-LINE  is a site from the University of Toronto . Poets, poems, timelines, and glossary.

Sonnet Central an archive of English sonnets, commentary, pictures, and relevant web links. Sonnets are grouped by period  and can also be accessed using an alphabetical list of authors.


CARRIE An Electronic LIbrary SITE INCLUDES:  Reference Dept., English, works by Author, Other Collections (Dutch, Esperanto, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Classical Latin, Medieval Latin, Scandinavian, Spanish and Portuguese)

Early Canadiana Online (English and French) Early Canadiana Online (ECO) is a full text online collection of more than 3,000 books and pamphlets documenting Canadian history from the first European contact to the late 19th century. The collection is particularly strong in literature, women's history, native studies, travel and exploration, and the history of French Canada.

Gaslight    Online text and discussion of Mystery, Macabre, Adventure, and related Fantasy Literature from 1800-1919. Some very weird stuff , including Canadian works.
